I absolutely love them, however the I prefer the leather sole they used to have. These are padded and yes comfortable but do not last very long. The last pair I purchased lasted less than a year. I have two pairs that I purchased about 12 years ago with the leather sole and I still wear them today. Would love to find them in the original leather. ### ⭐ Not ‘real’ true Lia Bijou *by F***T on May 17, 2016* After many years of Lia Bijou being unavailable I was thrilled to find them on Amazon – and that lasted right up to the point of unboxing.I normally wear a size 6 in Lia Bi Jou and was thrilled when I found both ‘my’ size and multiple colors to choose from.These are/were not only way to big and the quality horrible, but they weren’t even close to the color, texture, style or sole/footbed cushioning and support that a real Lia Bijou ‘would’ have.If you’ve purchased and loved Lia Bijou (previously carried by Nordstrom and a few other high-end stores) shoes/sandals then please don’t buy these with the expectation or hope that they are the same item.They aren’t.Happy to answer any questions.Mostly sad and disappointed that these aren’t the real thing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The straps do not fit as tight on my feet as they used to but the soles are slightly elevated by the heel and I love that. very *by A***R on June 1, 2017* I have been purchasing these Lia Bijou Sandals for more than 20 years. I must have 8 pairs right now. The originals were carried at Nordstroms and had a solid leather sole. I still have a raspberry colored pair I bought in 2001 . I don't think Lia Bijou makes these any more as I never find them in stores. These may be left overs, or Lia Bijou decided to only put this style on-line. The straps do not fit as tight on my feet as they used to but the soles are slightly elevated by the heel and I love that. very comfortable. I will keep buying these because they are so comfortable. But they are not the same as they used to be. They last several seasons and because I'm here in So Cal, that means I wear them year round. But they don't last as long as they used to.
