However, my fears have proved baseless as it worked immediately after inserting batteries. (Not supplied) No retuning of the Humax box needed, and all recordings still intact. The buttons are in different places on the remote compared to the original one. I did struggle to find my “recordings” as there isn’t a designated button (unlike the original remote control) but the “Y” button brings up the menu, and “recordings” are on the list. Simple once you know how!I knew my original remote control was slow, often failed to function properly, sticking buttons etc but this replacement works like a dream.
