A: 99% sure it will fit. Basically, the cover will fit any john deer 100 series 42" deck
in series S, D, E, LA, L

**Q: Will this fit the z345r zero turn mower by john deere?**
A: No, this is incorrect for the Z345R

**Q: Will this fit a 2021 s240  deck**
A: Most likely It Will Not, I think the S240 had two decks, a 42 and 48 width. The following only applies to the 42" deck.
The Kit listed on Amazon as GY00115 for $27.98 No Where in the specifications or packaging does it say anything for the S240. 
However, there is another Amazon listing for a GY00115 for $34.99 that does say applicable for the S240. The pictures are slightly Different 
for the two GY00115 covers (strap fittings in particular). My guess is the cover for $34.99 Will Fit, the $27.98 will Not.

**Q: I need the rubber connectors for mulching kit cover, where can I find those?**
A: They dont make replacement cords

This is easy to install. The only gripe is that the instructions (and the picture) do NOT highlight enough a critical step called out at the end which is put the flap back on to keep the guard down and in position. For me, I removed the “flap” from the unattached chute and re-installed the “flap”. Like many, I missed this key step when reading the instructions and looking at the picture until I saw another person’s picture and write up reiterating this key step. I feel obligated to now also call this out. Thank you Mr. Person for you write up!!
