The size is wonderful, since it easily wraps around even the largest person in the house. After an initial laundering, it is also absorbent. There is some sizing or fabric treatment that keeps it crisp for purchase, and that also inhibits the towel’s ability to absorb. But that washes out. Each laundering makes the towel softer (linen is like that). Extra good is that it air dries quickly after use. Damp towels get funky quickly, particularly in summer. The color is like mud, which I do not prefer, so I hang it behind the door rather than out where it is on view.
