I know there are so many other uses for WD 40. I know I will use it for other things around the house but I was desperate to get sticky labels off jars that I wanted to use in the pantry. I tried every thing I could think of but nothing worked except goo-gone but I didn't want to use as much of that as it would take to get about 16 labels of very large jars. It would have taken the whole bottle or more, plus the smell of goo-gone stays around for too long, especially in the amount that this job would take. When I read that WD 40 works for this task I went looking for my can, but I couldn't find it. I ordered this and it came in a reasonable amount of time.
