One Tree Hill: Season 5

One Tree Hill Season 5 one of my favorite season.Sadly this season was cut short and only has 18 episodes.This is also my favorite cover of any Tree Hill Season.This season is 5 years into the future and I was kinda neverous to see how it would be without everyone in high school.But it still remained strong and the OTH I have come to know and love.It was actually pretty refreshing not seeing them in high school and actually moving on with there lives.And seeing Haley and Nathan raise their son.Seeing Brooke new clothing line,Peyton's struggle in Hollywood,Lucas new book...and new girl.This season was awesome.This season also marked there 100th episodes which I have to say was AMAZING.Some of my favorite episodes are:-5x01 "4 Years,6 Months,2 Days"(one of my favorite episodes of the season.)-5x02 "Racing Like A Pro"(one of my favorite episodes of the season.)-5x03 "My Way Home Is Throught You"-5x07 "In da Club"(one of my favorite episodes of the season.)-5x12 "Hundred"(my favorite episode of the season.)-5x16 "Cryin Won't Help You Now-5x17 "Hate Is Safer Than Love-5x18 "What come After the Blues"All the episodes are absolutly fantasic but these really stand out. :)My Favorite Seasons(1-the best 7-not that great):1.Season 42.Season 53.Season 64.Season 75.Season 36.Season 27.Season 1-only because not that much awesome drama as the characters are still trying to develop and had some dull episodes...but hey what can you expect from a starter season.Final Thoughts:This season is FANTASIC and is still the same OTH that we love.It came in perfect condition I mean nothing was wrong it wasn't torn,bent,or even scratched up,it came PERFECT.On a scale 1-10 I would give OTH Season 5 a 9.5 I absolutly love it. And as you can see my top 5 favorite seasons of OTH Season 5 falls under #2.I got it on sale on Amazon for $18.99 an unbeatable price.So thank you Amazon for having the great 3 season bundle I was able to get season 4,5,and 6 in a bundle for only $57 dollars talking about unbeatable and on top of that it arrived within 2 days :). I am an avid One Tree Hill watcher. I watched it quite frequent whend it was on t_v, but when it was on tv it was so hard to watch it the times that came on. I've had seasons 1 through 5 for quite some time and needed to get the others. I watched them completely through all seasons, 1 through 9, episode after episode during my free time. I absolutely love this show and it's 1 of the best, if not the best series that I've ever seen. Once I got through this season that I had at home, I needed to get the season that I didn't have. I knew it was going to be hard to find them in a store, or that if I did find them they were going to be more than I wanted to spend. I then decided to look on Amazon and I found what I needed and I found them at a very reasonable price. I place my order and the items came very very quick. I'm very glad I chose to get them on here rather than having to go to a store, look for the items I needed, and hopefully not spending a fortune. If you're looking to get the last few seasons, you'll definitely be happy with the delivery time and the price.

Great show

One Tree Hill decided to jump 5 years into the future instead of having their characters go to college together and it was a cool idea and worked well for the show. It almost made it a new show but for fans who watched the previous four years it was nice to see which characters stayed together and which ones grew apart. Brooke is uber-successful with her company, Peyton is the exact opposite with her music, Nathan ruined his shot with his temper, Haley forgot about music and is a mother and teacher, Lucas became a successful author writing about his relationships throughout high school and he is engaged to be married to someone who is not Peyton. The only disappointing part of this season was the way the writers tried to create some false drama between Nathan and Haley with Carrie; it was obvious from day 1 that they would stay together. Overall, a must have for fans of the show.

I love how the characters have evolved and come together. I was concerned about the timbre of the show when I learned that Peyton and Luke weren't in this season, but that did not hurt the show at all.

I remember watching this in middle school though high school it help my depression.

I have been waiting to buy all the seasons of one tree hill.. its the best tv show ever.. i remember when the show came on i just turned 15 going to the 10thgrade.. such a amazing life changing show..

If, like me, you didn't see this on TV, don't worry, there really are no plot spoilers in this review. The very high standards of writing and acting, evident in previous seasons, are here in abundance. There are no duff episodes and no shoddy performances. I do, however, have 2 criticisms. Firstly, the brilliant theme song "I Don't Want To Be" by Gavin DeGraw is GONE. Definitely an error in judgement. I'm sure EVERY OTH fan LOVES that theme song. Okay, it does feature at the start of ONE episode, presented to us in a slightly different form than previously. But other than that, it's VANISHED. WHY? And secondly, there is a continuity error in the last scene of the final episode that bugged me. It's not hard to spot, trust me. Tut tut. But basically, it's perfection personified. Obviously, you MUST buy this box set. Classic stuff at a great price. The climax leaves OTH fans with 2 cliffhangers, and a burning desire to see Season 6 immediately! Oh, and fans of the OLD Melrose Place will enjoy seeing a regular of that show join the OTH cast.

Auch die 5. Staffel steht den vorangegangenen um nichts nach. Nette US-Serie über junge Erwachsene und ihre Herausforderungen nach dem College. Wenn auch keine "schwere" Serie, viel Wahrheitsgehalt. Erwähnenswert ist auch jeden Fall die super Musik in allen Staffeln, da Nachwuchsmusiker in die Handlung eingebaut werden. Somit erhalten diese eine Chance, ihre Musik vorzustellen und die Serie wird dadurch stark aufgewertet.Sehr empfehlenswert ist es, sich diese Serie in Englisch anzuschauen. Die Aussprache der Darsteller ist sehr deutlich und es ist einfach zu folgen (auch ohne perfekte Englischkenntnisse).Wir freuen uns schon auf die 6. Staffel!
