Since I supported to use this equipment every day I order it from Amazon . It is not a stretchable rope and it is not supposed to be according to the functionality it’s made **Q: Is the rope adjustable? I am only 5' tall and need to be able to have my hand go over my head then pull the rope down. Thanks.** A: I shortened the rope by tying an extra knot or two at the handles. You can also make adjustments by the height of the seat of the chair you use (if you sit while doing this exercise). I ended up using a two-step ladder which worked out well, because I needed the ladder to be tall enough to hook the apparatus over the door. I think you will be able to figure something out.
