A: You can not secure any roof anchor to terra cotta. You have to remove a few tiles first, then you can attach an anchor to the plywood & rafters below. Hope this helps.

**Q: Is there a cover for this anchor? Inspection shows that it's required**
A: The anchor doesn’t have a cover.

**Q: Can you anchor through shingles ?**
A: I don't see why not, but how are you going to know where the stud is, that's the important part
