Our old trailer had this type strut to hold the cabinet doors open. The new one lacked them. I was glad to find these and a good price. The cabinet doors are light, so I only need one for each. I have a spare since I only needed to use three. Now I don't have to worry about trying to maneuver items in and out of the cabinet while holding the door up. The instructions were included and were clear about where to mount the brackets. Once that was done, I snapped the strut in place, and I was done. I had to add a piece of wood to the back of the cabinet face for the round bracket, but that was not hard. Bottom line: If your RV did not come with them and you have lift-up cabinet doors, get these. They will work and save you a lot of frustration. Review: Nice to have! - If you ever get tired of holding the rear deck lid up with your head, or having to lean it against something, these are a must on a tracker classic xl. Modifications needed to install on locker behind the seats. ## Features - Lids soft open gently,Ideal for supporting the lid to keep it open - Pressure:45N/10lb (Per Strut);Length ( hole center to hole center) :9-11/16'';Travel:3-14/25'' ,Distance between ball mounts compressed: 6-1/8" - Support opens lids to a maximum angle of 100 degrees. Bottom line: If your RV did not come with them and you have lift-up cabinet doors, get these. They will work and save you a lot of frustration. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice to have! *by J***O on 8 March 2024* If you ever get tired of holding the rear deck lid up with your head, or having to lean it against something, these are a must on a tracker classic xl. Modifications needed to install on locker behind the seats. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If packaging is any indicator of quality, then these should be great! *by S***R on 22 February 2021* Packaging a lot of times is more about marketing. You tear open the package and find out maybe you don't want the item, so now you have to put it all back and try and make it look decent. Even worse, you keep the item and have to through some non-recyclable plastic out. But, what if a company sends you your items in a really nice and reusable bag with a heavy duty slide lock? I mean, if they put this much thought into their packaging, what kind of thinking and quality do they put into the product?? Yep, I'm really impressed with the packaging! It was so easy to open the package and inspect the product. No stress in opening, no stress if I had to return the item, no stress in having to throw out or recycle the packaging because I'm going to reuse it. What's not to be excited about! Oh, the actual product! Yeah, about that, tight, sturdy, easy to install and works as expected. No surprise there. I mean, look how it was packaged! ## Frequently Bought Together - Apexstone 45N/10lb 10 inch Gas Struts, Gas Springs, Gas Strut, Lift Support, Gas Shocks, Lid Stay, Lid Support, Set of 4 - Apexstone 100N/22.5lb Gas Struts 10 Inch Gas Struts Lift Supports Gas Spring Lid Support Gas Props/Shocks, Set of 4 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/322157702-45n-10lb-10-inch-gas-struts-gas-springs-gas-strut](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/322157702-45n-10lb-10-inch-gas-struts-gas-springs-gas-strut) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
