It is hard-cover, spirals allow it to lay flat or be turned inside out, and the paper is smooth and thick. Worth every penny to hold ones precious artwork. It's like having my creations presented in a gift box. My question is, why is it so hard to find a sketchbook with a pretty, artful cover? Most are just plain ugly black. It would also be great to have more covers that are plain brown cardboard so that we artists can decorate them with our own artwork.
