And for years I've just let my rings endure the abuse or I've tried to remember to take them off, but it's always a struggle to remember to either do that or remember to put them back on again after. So I decided that I needed rings that I could wear while doing things that aren't ring-friendly.I got another silicone ring recently and it was great, but it was a thinner material and that makes getting it off a bit of a challenge because it wants to bend and stretch rather than come off easily. As this one was more heavy duty I figured it was worth looking into to see if it would solve that problem. And for the most part, it does. It's a little more rigid than my other silicone ring so it does come off easier. It's also more accurately sized. The last one I got ran small so I had to order a size up. I did that again with this one just to be safe and it is a bit loose (but not enough to just fall right off).So for anyone who may have had any concerns about that, I do recommend getting your actual ring size (which I imagine most people do anyway, but if you've run into past issues as I have, it's handy to know).The ring does seem to pick up dust a bit easier due to the patterns on it. Not a big deal since I didn't really get it to look pretty--just to be functional, but I figure it's worth noting.Overall I am pleased with this ring! I hope that more colors or patterns will become available in the future. Enough though I ordered the size ring he wears, it was huge. And he didn't like it at all. Thought it looked a rubber tire or gasket. He was not a fan. I think it is probably safer than his gold band, but he tells me that he's worn it for more 30 years at the same job and he's not going to change it now. Okee dokee. In all honesty, it is not very attractive in my opinion, but it was functional as ring - if it had fit. I would recommend sizing down - but if you get one that is too small, it's really not useful either. I think it's just hard to size a ring without trying it on. If you're willing to spend a few extra bucks, go for it - buying a couple of sizes.
