Review: Okay, I never write reviews in general, but this sunscreen was a huge no-go for me. To begin, the 3oz container was priced SO high for such a small amount. The bottle wasn't even filled all the way. When I first started applying some, my friend noticed that it wouldn't rub into my skin at all. Left a horrible white cast even after being in the ocean. No matter how hard I rubbed it, it just stuck to my skin and never really got absorbed. After noticing this, I thought, "Oh, maybe that means it'll do an extra good job of protecting my skin from the sun." Spoiler; It didn't. I re-applied every 3-4 hours and still had a splotchy, painful sunburn all over my shoulders, arms, and both sides of my legs. I don't recall having a sunburn to this extremity before whilst using sunscreen. I would leave photos, but that's kind of weird. I wanted to leave this review to let people know you are choosing between the reefs or yourself. Sure, it has a great chemical makeup to not harm the ocean, but it seems like it never considered the person using it. Save your money. Review: I bought this for a trip to Cancun in July. Yes, it left white streaks, including on clothing, but honestly who cares. If you're going to a place where eco friendly sunscreen is required, everyone is going to have white streaks on them, and the white streaks will come out of your clothes. As for effectiveness, I usually burn easily and did not when using this product. Again, this was Cancun in JULY. I kept reapplying when I was in the water for a while, or if I was sweating a lot. My boyfriend, however, is super pale and Irish, did burn, but not nearly as much as he normally does. Approximately how many full body applications can I expect to get from one 3 oz tube?** A: Not sure about full body application, but my wife and I were snorkeling for 5 days, and one tube was sufficient for our legs (we wore rash guard shirts and did not need sunscreen for chest and back). BTW, this is a great product, very effective. Tom **Q: How much of a white film does it leave?** A: It does leave one looking pale, but you can apply it lightly enough such that it works and you do not look like a vampire. **Q: Does this contain aluminum?** A: The short answer is Yes. The only active ingredient is Titanium Dioxide (non-nano), however among the inactive ingredients are Magnesium Aluminum Silicate and Alumina. You might also be interested that the product has a fairly creamy texture and does not feel too greasy once rubbed in. It does not smell as nice as some standard products but it is not bad; there is only a light scent a bit like ivory soap to my nose. By contrast, some of the other eco-friendly sunscreens were more pasty and did not smell very attractive to me. I loved that it was a little lower spf @ 20, but I found that I didn’t want to use it at the pool because I looked like a ghost!
