Am I understanding this correctly?** A: I can't afford to buy 4 of these so I'm considering the cheaper knock off "Salvo" I really don't want to buy this other brand because I've heard some dogs have bad reaction to the knock off but I seriously don't have $200 for 4 dogs!! I called the 800# for Seresto, they took all of the info from my cans and determined that they were knock offs. They send me a return authorization form and shipping label and are sending me two new collars for supporting the investigation. I'll never try to go that cheap again. I have to buy collars quicker than they're sending them because of the weather, but they assure me they have a shelf life of 5 years if unopened. It's a far better investment than the topical, which is messy, is hard to put on a cat, and that they lick off of each other which worries me.
