I replaced two units and immediately there was a noticeable drop in temperature. The AC Unit could easily reach cooler temperatures faster. WHY? because this fan actually keeps the compressor cooler. It makes the refrigerant more efficient since the refrigerant can get cooler faster since the compressor will run so much better with a new fan. Its that simple. A 15 year old fan in the florida sun means those bearings, and electrical wiring that is constantly running is struggling to spin. Even if it works it can run better.One negative, is that the wiring doesn't have much slack, but it fits I didn't need to do cut or measure. It can easily be installed. The fan fit perfectly. Also make sure you get zip ties. You will need zip ties to make sure the wiring is taut. So buy some zip ties too.
