The dystonia wasn't really affected.After that I did notice an improvement in mood and also the dystonia got less. I felt near to an attack a lot but it subsided and by the time I reached the end of the month or so my dystonia was never a full attack, just sort of on the edge of one which was fine by me.I've been off the algae for about a month and my dystonia has returned albeit not in a huge way. I've decided to try spirulina this month as I've heard that helps too but it hasn't helped me at all really. I'm left wondering whether I got a placebo effect or whether it worked.I plan on trying again once the spirulina is gone and will update my review with my findings. But to anyone suffering dystonia we all know anything is worth a go to help with the agonising pain. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Stuff! *by R***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 5, 2016* I find that Lake Klamath Algae really helps me to keep my energy levels up. When I was convalescing from really low energy, I used it every day for quite a long time, and i would really feel the difference if I didn't take it for a couple of weeks. Now my level of health is better, I tend to take the algae primarily when I have a really heavy day ahead of me, especially a long drive. I find it very different to spirulina, which is cheaper but I find it less effective. Several friends have also found that after taking it for a while, various diverse health conditions (apart from low energy, e.g. irregular periods, skin rashes etc) improve as the body is getting adequate nutrition and elements with which to tackle the condition. One comment a friend made which resonates with me is that she felt after it started taking effect that there was actually more time in her life, because her clarity and energy had come back.
