The emitter fits over it, but not snugly. Can anyone tell me what kind of adapter to use?** A: Just use a screw(stainless to prevent rust). Drill a small hole threw the pipe and emitter rim and secure the emitter to the pipe. Common fix. **Q: For anyone that has used the popup valve, do you get soil erosion around the popup valve? I'm going to be using this with a sump pump.** A: I've had mine for one year. It discharges an underground drainpipe leading from an upgradient catch basin that drains what used to be a waterlogged low area next to my house. I see no erosion by the popup, which is on a hillslope barely above the soil surface where a grassy lawn grows. It looks just like the rest of the lawn. **Q: Does it come in gray or white color?** A: Gray or white ???? I don't know for sure. Mine are a dark forest green. I never seen anything to indicate there are any color choices. Does not seem likely but again I cannot say for sure. Try looking on internet for manufacturer web site.
