I walk with a cane, so I need to take all precautions. It is small enough to put in my purse. ( it's a bit heavy for me to carry a lot, but worth it for my safety). Last night I put it to good use in my apartment. We had a tornado hit about 1/2 mile from me. The power was out for about 4 hours. I turned it on to the widest beam and stood it on end and had a nice light throughout the room. Not enough light to read, unless I held it, but it was like I had a low light lamp on and lit up the whole room. Really came through for me! Love it! I'm going to get another one to keep by my bedside. I am retired and live alone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good light, use 18650's instead of AAA *by B***N on March 26, 2018* It's a good flashlight and pretty bright. Do yourself a favor and get a pair of 18650 batteries (and be aware that any 18650 that advertises more than 3400 mAh is almost certainly lying as of Q1 2018 state of the art). These things draw about 1.2A on a fresh battery, AAA's will never be able to push that much current. Also an 18650 is rechargeable and you'll be recharging often. Power hungry little guy, but that's the price you pay for how bright it is.I'm not bold enough to test the structural or sealing claims, but I've had it in light rain without problems. Not bad for a very low-cost knock off of 1Tac. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rugged, best light range - fabulous *by S***L on July 12, 2017* Be careful which tactical light you purchase. I have tried out about a dozen different models and this one is the best.
