I am picky and have high standards for my pens. I like my ink opaque and rich in color. I value smoothness and effortlessness when writing. I tend to buy thicker pens since they're more comfortable. There are certain things I use gel pens for and certain things I use felt tip pens for.I loved these pens! I bought them for journaling. I'm a little weird and like all the width of my pens to be within close range of the other pens' widths on the page, if that makes sense. Basically, I don't like to jump from a thick marker to a fine point pen. I like it all to be semi-cohesive. These were perfect for what I needed. As expected from a felt tip pen, the ink was very opaque and quick drying. I haven't had any smearing or smudging. Very smooth writing and did not feel like it dragged on the page. I didn't feel the need to wear down the tip for a more comfortable writing experience. I write about 1-2 paragraphs a day and I haven't had an issue with tip bending, going flat or soft. I haven't had the ink bleed through to the other side even when I'm using different amounts of pressure (I have a toddler, so I don't have the luxury to sit and write in peace. If I do, he's taking a nap next to me and I can't move or else he will wake up, so I'm forced to write in a weird position).
