I tried it on my stainless steel cook top, and the back wall tile. Worked as I was hoping for. I purchased this unit to clean the tile grout in my shower room. The entire room is floor to ceiling tile. Including the ceiling. Being there is very little air movement in the room, I have Black Mold in the grout lines on the ceiling tile. I know the best way to remove the mold is with steam. I will be wearing a respirator so not to breathe in any mold spores. I am sure my lungs are happy to hear that. In college I had a class in Microbiology. I know what damage mold spores can have and decrease your quality of life. Again WAGNER produced another great product. You can use it thereafter up until you run out of water. It is highly recommended to use distilled water. Personally, I find the distilled water does not come to highest heat, therefore steam is not optimum. I seem to get a lot more water spitting out than steam using distilled water. Although distilled supposedly extends the life of the eating element and/or reservoir. **Q: What is the difference between this and the McColloch M-1275 in terms of attachments and steam pressure?** A: I have bought the mccollough brand brushes for the Wagner and they fit fine. That is the only part that I know for sure is interchangeable. **Q: can I steam clothing** A: Hi,Believe it or not, I have done it. Doesn't mention anything about clothes but it's steam and I have done it many times. This is a great price they have it for now. It has dropped 15.00 since last week. **Q: just bought a home with tile floor. how foes tjis work on tile and grout?** A: Just bought this and tried it out not 15 minutes ago. One of the attachments doesn't work, the others are fine. It only has enough pressure for about 30 seconds, then you have to wait a few minutes to pressure up again to use it. I give this 1/5 stars. My wife had tried almost everything and couldn’t clean these tiles to be like new again.
