Es befindet sich ferner darunter eine sogenannte "Aqua Bowl" und man kann am Ende der Bügeltätigkeit das Bügelbrett um 45° neigen und das Kondenwasser läuft daraufhin in diese Aqua Bowl, welche leicht entfernbar und zu entleeren ist. Somit endlich kein Kondenswasser mehr am Fußboden!!! Ferner ist der Bügeltisch sehr stabil und wackelt nicht hin und her. Die Abstellfläche für die Dampfstation ist versenkbar und dadurch ein angenehmes und leichtes Arbeiten gewährleistet. Einen kleinen Nachteil muß ich derzeit bei der Höhenverstellung für mich noch feststellen, der Hebel der dafür vorgesehen, ist mir für die Bedienung noch fremd (egal wie ich ziehe od. drücke ich schaffe es nicht). From the moment you pick this up you can tell its a quality ironing board. The sturdy frame is made of the good stuff and should last a very long time if not a lifetime (well its guaranteed for 10 years). This was the second ironing board with the steam unit holder i bought so thought I would get this slightly more expensive item this time to see what the difference was. I must say this is much nicer, convenient and practical to use and no more drips of steam onto the floor, dry floor Yipee Yipee, The board surface area is excellent giving a generous amount of ironing space to use. This coupled with the steam unit rest (which is ridged to stop irons dropping off) allows for hassle free ironing chores, allowing you to accomplish ironing tasks much easier and quicker. The supplied ironing cover is great and irons will simply glide over it without the usual friction of some other covers I have used, and really does help speed up the ironing process immensely.
