Mulberry trees here are nuts and cutting them down is just a lesson in futility. Cut one down, seven more spring from the stump. But not any more. A very sparing application of this to the freshly-cut stump (I like to apply it within seconds or minutes at most) and the entire root system will die. It's glorious. The bottle has a solid cap, and comes with a squeeze-bottle cap. Once you have some practice, you can drip this stuff right out of the squeeze bottle with decent accuracy. But if I'm doing more than a couple trees, I like to fill a small disposable container with it, and then use a foam brush to apply it. You do NOT want to overdo it so that this dribbles onto the ground. It is effective, but as labelled it's also very nasty stuff. Wear nitrile gloves and do your best to keep it off other vegetation. For smaller (like 1-inch diameter or so) stuff I'll drip a couple drops onto the stem, then use a paper towel to dab/spread it around. Pay the most attention to the growth area of the plant, right inside the bark ring. In any case, I'll often make a second application after 5-10 minutes if it seems like the stump has drawn in all the brush killer. I've never had ANYTHING survive the application of this brush killer. I did have one stump that died very dramatically after application, where apparently this product prevented it from healing over, so for days the stump just kept bleeding out, pumping sap out at a prodigious rate. I was worried the stump would manage to flush out the brush killer, but it just died. Review: Effective against buckthorn and honeysuckle - Great product.
