Does it work for that type dryer as well?** A: Yes mine is the same way it does work good yes. Sad part is I feel like there’s some left in there. If I had two in them it would reach all the way to the bottom. **Q: how wide is the opening on the tubes? I assume they are oval shaped, is that correct?** A: The opening for the end that will be used to suck up the lint is 1/2 inch. That end and the tube are oval/flat. The round end in the part that will fit on your vacuum is 2 inches. The vacuum end is stretchy rubber so that it fits a smaller or larger vacuum end and creates a good seal. It works very well for the purpose. Mine puts off a high pitched noise when using. Not sure if that is because of my vacuum connection with this device or this device always sounds like that when being used but it gets the job done! **Q: How far will the hose advance and is it difficult to advance?** A: Depends on the type of dryer you have. But it in most cases reach as far as the first bend in the dryers exhaust. Sometimes you have to try different combinations of the hose attachments to reach further down in the dryer exhaust. I believe it will fit to the hose off of a shop vac ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everyone should use this *by D***N on August 2, 2023* I bought this as a preventative for fire in the dryer vent as recommended by professionals. It was the lowest cost, best thing I've bought in a long time. I attached it to my Shark vacuum and put it down the lint trap in my dryer. I was floored by the amount of lint it removed and glad I did it! The only small downside is that it doesn't got deep into the trap (although that's how it is designed) but it does the job and gives some peace of mind. Everyone should vacuum out their dryer vents, it's a proven cause of fire in the home! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well - still a pain due to the limited work space *by D***R on February 6, 2023* It worked well with my small shop vac attached. Using a stick vacuum with an attachment caused constant clogging at the connection between the vacuum attachment and the blur attachment funnel piece. I changed to using a small shop vacuum where i could connect the round shop vac hose all the way into the blue attachment tube. Large pieces of lint would still clog at time, but worked better. We have a front load dryer (where the lint screen is inside the dryer door towards the bottom of the drum) I used a long rod to stick down in the lint screen area to scrap the lint off inside the dryer vent and the stuff the was stuck on the bottom. I also used the rod to try and break the lint up in smaller pieces to suck it up. Once i was done, our dryer lint screen was able to sit flush all the way down (which it hasn't for a few months due to the lint build up).
