## Description

Defend your home against six- and eight-legged pests with TERRO Spider & Insect Traps, used for effective insect trapping & elimination. These glue traps for bugs are coated with a sticky glue surface that traps and kills spiders, ants, cockroaches, centipedes, and other crawling insects. They're great as general spider traps and for use against the “Big 3,” including black widow, brown recluse, and hobo spiders. Once insects step onto the sticky traps, they become stuck fast. For your convenience, each trap can be folded over to keep the glue surface away from pets and children—and the captured insects out of sight—or you can use it flat for a larger catch area. These bug sticky traps are easy to use. Simply remove the backing to reveal the glue surface. Fold the trap along the marked lines to create an open box style or leave it flat, as desired. Place traps in high-traffic areas like basements and attics, or in other rooms along baseboards, in corners, and under furniture.

Review: PERFECT DIAGNOSTIC TOOL for rodents, and great for Pill Bugs + Spiders - Really good product for a slab home with spiders. and also Pill Bugs from outdoor landscaping with heavy mulch. The "rolly Polly" pill bugs have been really bad this year with heavy rains lasting weeks. I just cut out a single square. Place it at the corners of the doorway where they're entering. I'll turn them around on occasion so they fill up the trap. And then I'll replace the traps every week or two. For spiders, I'll place them along baseboards, behind appliances and furniture. I've gotten some really gnarly looking large spiders with these specific traps. When I have a basement, I have no problem with abundant spiders. They catch the bugs I'd rather not have in the house. When I have a 70-year-old slab townhouse in the brown recluse spider range? My inclination is to catch them before they make it upstairs. ALSO PERFECT DIAGNOSTIC TOOL FOR OTHER PESTS. In a garage, multiple attics, or basements, these are perfect for nabbing the occasional field mouse before it sets.up shop for the winter. Nobody wants Mice to nest in the walls or inside cars. I actually prefer the heavier plastic trays for diagnosing rodents. And you will need stronger traps for rats. But these are really nice backup for mice. (Like you really need these for something else. But if you get some ice, you're accomplishing that much more) I have caught at least one field mouse on these traps when placed behind my garage chest freezer. (House backs up to a wooded ravine. So it's always a possibility). If you find a mouse on these traps and it's still alive, simply dip the trap into the toilet, and drown the mouse. More humane than throwing a living mouse attached to a trap in the trash. ONLY NEGATIVE I can think of is that, these are attractive to birds. I had these placed very far back in the garage. And I've had 2 separate birds caught on one. So they must smell these just like the mice. I poured vegetable oil over the bird attached to the trap, which frees the bird from the sticky substance.. I let the bird fall off into a bed of ground cover. And then I got out the hose, and used the hose sprayer to drench the ground cover bed. hopefully giving the bird a chance to wash off the oil,.and hang out long enough to safely dry out and recover. Or at least giving it the last best humane option.
Review: Omg - This trap caught a lot of spiders! I had no idea there were so many spiders around my house until I started using it. Very surprised by the results.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have surveillance cameras outside can they kill spiders when the traps get wet**
A: Surveillance cameras only kill spiders when the traps are dry. They do capture my neighbors doing strange things when they are wet or dry, but they haven’t killed any yet.

**Q: Can these traps be used on an outdoor patio?**
A: This trap is recommended for indoor use around a room’s perimeter, including against baseboards, in corners, behind doors, and behind or underneath furniture. The traps will catch spiders as they roam in search of insects.

**Q: Can this be used for fruit flies?**
A: While fruit flies may be captured in this trap if they land in it, we do not recommend this product specifically for fruit flies. Instead, we recommend trying TERRO® Fruit Fly Traps.

**Q: Does this trap bed bugs ?**
A: This trap captures spiders, ants, cockroaches, crickets and other crawling insects. While it has not been tested on bed bugs, we have several other products that work well to control these pests. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wolf Spider DEFEATED It
*by T***T on May 22, 2025*

I'm in a house that's over 50 years old, very clean but with a small moisture issue in the basement that I just bought a pump dehumidifier for. Had a manual-dump dehumidifier for years before but it doesn't seem to remove enough moisture. I reference this as this is the only reason why I can see that I'd have an issue with spiders down there; it's not major, but there's enough (I can find about one a day during Spring) that it's a problem. So I put a half dozen of these in the spots I've seen them. They have caught some huge ones. Where these things are coming from is SO puzzling, as there are minimal ways to enter from the outside and most everything is off the floors on rollers/etc., mostly organized and as clean as a basement can be. In other words, few places for them to hide. Once I see something trapped on one of these things I use a paper towel to grab the sticky part and squash the catch as quickly as possible; I really don't like killing things in general, and I'm hoping that the spiders/silverfish/etc that get stuck on these die as quickly as possible, I don't want them struggling... ...Well... I saw a wolf spider caught on one one day. I had a horrible back issue and couldn't bend under the sink area to get to it immediately... The next day I could...BUT...THE WOLF SPIDER WAS GONE FROM THE TRAP. A medium sized one this time. I was absolutely shocked. These strips are kinda like those wax hair-removal strips. In fact, I assumed that's basically what they are, re-purposed. So, VERY sticky. I could NOT believe the spider was gone. I am the only one in the house. There is no other explanation except that it escaped the sticky part. I am continuing to use the strips with success, and they do seem to have reduced the problem by a solid 90% or so. Ended up catching at least a dozen wolf spiders, some very large (over a couple inches including their legs in a few instances...really horrifying things, even tho I understand they're beneficial in many ways. I can't tolerate them in my home). SO: it's a worthwhile product, but I'm checking on the strips frequently now and will make sure the catches are killed asap, also because apparently they can actually escape, which leads me to believe they're not dying quickly, which I'd much rather be the case. I'd ask the manufacturer if perhaps there's a way to help ensure they're killed when they get stuck, perhaps a natural food-based killer (like boric acid for ants, roaches, etc.) of some sort. Altho I'd rather not use anything toxic, I think in a case like this where it's so contained, it might make a good option for many of us to help ensure they don't escape, that they die quickly, and therefore completely effective.
