For .5 oz capacity per container (I thought is was 2 oz per container), I felt I was robbed. Also, the Canadian taxes are a lot more the buying it in the USA. Review: Excellent product. I wanted a high quality synthetic grease that stays in place a long time, and is aluminum friendly. I’ve used graphite based greases on many of my guns in the past because of how well it makes slides and bolts operate. The downside is that I could only use it on my all steel guns because graphite can erode and gall aluminum, so it’s a big no no for aluminum alloy frames and receivers. I found out about this stuff on one of the hunting forums I frequent. It works just as well if not better than graphite-based greases, is a lot less messy, and it seems like you can do more with less vs the graphite based greases. And since it’s graphite free, I can use it on all my guns. It has made the bolt on my Benelli SBE glide like it’s on ball bearings. I will also use it on my Beretta 686 where it breaks open to reduce wear and friction at the hinge pins. With an operating temperature range of -100°F through 250°F you probably don’t need anything else. Also, because of its high operating temperature, it makes a great anti-seize for the threads of your shotgun chokes. Steal one of your wife’s small makeup brushes, the ones with brushes that are like the old Testors model paint brushes and you have the perfect applicator. As mentioned, a little goes a long way. While you can get it a lot cheaper in larger containers, the average person using this in rifle builds, is not going to go through a ton of this grease in a year or two. For the average user, this should last through several years' worth of builds for you and a circle of friends.
