This should be mentioned front and center in the product listing. This was a christmas gift that will now be late and unable to be gifted. This lava lamp cannot be used here in the Netherlands without an expensive transformer that runs 24/7. A travel adapter will not work. Talk about a big disappointment and a waste of time. The sellers should be posting this information on here. You had one job to do "Marc & Lukas". Why is this American Lava Lamp with a 120V power supply plug being sold in Europe on Amazon.NL.. with absolutely no mention of it being 120 volts and needing a transformer? This should be mentioned front and center in the product listing. This was a christmas gift that will now be late and unable to be gifted. Havn't had any problems. Got this morning and it's been going for about 4 hours now. Took more then the 2 hours to really start going and I had to make sure the glass was sitting in the base snug and then it started doing its thing. At the 2 hour mark when I checked it I noticed the thing was hot but the wax not moving a lot and that the glass was a tiny bit off kilter sitting on the base. I straightened it out and it started working great after that. No cloudiness. Wax is moving well up and down. Working great! I see others reviews of it not working well, if yours isn't working maybe try adjusting where the glass meets the base a bit and see if it gets it that extra degree hotter to really get the wax moving.
