She has had it for a month, and it generally works well. She is quite hard of hearing, and the volume could be a bit louder, but it does get the job done for her. Turning the hourly announce off and on is a bit of a challenge for a visually impaired person. There should be a separate button for that function instead of having to go through a menu.
