Our THF Series filters protect industrial equipment and processes from the dirt, water, oil, and other contaminants commonly found in compressed air systems. Titus filters also save energy dollars, since they have a lower associated pressure drop when compared to competitive filters using older element technology. THF filter housings feature modular connections which allow multiple filters to be bolted together for ease of installation, leak elimination and reduced space requirements. They also feature an annular seal and a captive O-ring, located between the head and the bowl to prevent leaks, and the filter bowl contains external ribs as well as a hex head on the bottom, for easy removal. The elements for the THF filters feature fiberglass inner and outer supports, which provide pre-filtration of larger particles, as well as a durable and non-corrosive glass filled nylon end cap, which is attached to the element with a multi-part urethane resin. The element is then held in place by internal ribs within the filter housing. Other features include: 1) Performance monitoring - Easy indication of excessive pressure drop to reduce energy costs. 2) Internal ribs - Secure element in-place and form quiet air zone to prevent condensate re-entrainment. 3) Unique push-fit, double O-ring seal - Filter element-to-head chamfered connection for ease of installation and removal; push-fit design eliminates tie rods. 4) Polyester needle felt sleeve - Provides a unique coalescing action to quickly drain oil and will not crush like competitive foam socks.
