It came well protected in a nice box. The tree has several leaves on it and looks very healthy! The root was in a plastic planter and covered in plastic wrap, so I just gave it some water until I could plant it. (It came with a stick next to it to protect it, so that is in the picture, too.) It looks even better than I expected considering it cost less than other trees that were listed. I can’t imagine a tree looking better than this when it arrives. Review: Failed to grow - Excitedly, I planted my new little dogwood the same day it arrived. It was bareroot, so the condition did not concern me. Although, the size was not quite in the range of what they promised. I have patiently tended to the little twig and after 2 months there is no sign of life. The return window- which is not long enough for a bareroot product- is closed.
