So returned to what I knew from to past to replace the lesser known makes I had tried for the brand I had used for decades. (A sound choice) volume and ringtones are different these days and not for the better there is a lack of volume for the ringer (not as bad as others) and a lack of choice of ringtones including the traditional ring ring not being there. Buttons easy to use. Sound quality good, (even when taken a couple of rooms away from the base station). The batteries are small (AAA sized) and were supplied in a discharged state, but this is probably because the unit uses NiMH batteries rather than lithium batteries, and I am used to lithium batteries arriving partially charged. Initially I considered the display to be unreadable, but this was caused by the discharged condition of the battery. Once the battery was fully charged the display was average for a phone of this type. It is nonetheless a small display, with not a lot of information on it, but acceptably readable once the battery is fully charged. Lots of facilities I have not tested, but since I bought it as a cheap temporary phone it does the job expected of it more than adequately.
