For a long time now I have been wanting to create more BEAUTY in this world as I see things are so difficult for people right now. Something inside impelled me to look into the art of pressing flowers but I didn't know where to start and so I started here on Amazon. I was intuitively drawn to this model of flower press and was so happy I did. I had tried to flower press before not realizing you need to use blotting paper not normal paper and the difference is immediate! Sarah who runs the company sorted out a tiny problem I had at the very beginning and since then my journey has been flourishing. My first attempts look lovely so I can only imagine what will happen when I get more accomplished at the design part! I thought the wood might bend but it only gives very slightly so you can press the flowers down quite tightly without it breaking or snapping! The wing nuts only will go so far really so you can't break the wood. I find them preferable to the idea of straps as they are so easy to use. The design on the pale wood looks beautiful. Easy to use and their website gives you all the knowledge you need to begin this awesome ART. I do have a garden so can pick my own flowers. It gives me a warm feeling inside to know that simply arranging a few flowers this way can be so artistically satisfying and a wonderful home made gift for family and friends. Now I have done this I am excited to try doing epoxy art and put those same pressed flowers into all sorts of items.
