Dexter Sofgrip Flexible Fillet Knives are among some of Dexter's most popular fillet knives. With a size for every occasion, they come out of the package ultra-sharp and with just the right amount of flex to glide over the bones. Featuring SOFGRIP handles that are soft to the grip and provide great control along with slip resistance. Sofgrip Flexible Fillet Knives are made with proprietary high carbon, high alloy, stain free DEXSTEEL. These knives are NSF certified, made in the USA, and include Edge Guard blade protectors (optional - certain models only) to protect your knife's edge when it is stored.

Review: NOT MAX FLEX - Misleading description - I wanted to post a review to confirm the other reviewer who stated this does not match the description. It was advertised as the 6 inch being the MAX FLEX option. This is not. You'll receive the MEDIUM FLEX knife. Outside of that, I did test it side by side with a MAX FLEX knife and I thought it was still nearly equally flexible. I like the handle a lot (very grippy and good shape), and the blade guard fits very well. perfect for keeping in the bottom of your tackle box and not worrying about coming loose. It was sharp out of the box. I think it was a great buy for the price. I read so many suggestions and Dexter was one of the top repeated suggestions, saying that fishermen and fisheries use these. I'd buy again!

I wanted to post a review to confirm the other reviewer who stated this does not match the description. It was advertised as the 6 inch being the MAX FLEX option. This is not. You'll receive the MEDIUM FLEX knife. Outside of that, I did test it side by side with a MAX FLEX knife and I thought it was still nearly equally flexible. I like the handle a lot (very grippy and good shape), and the blade guard fits very well. perfect for keeping in the bottom of your tackle box and not worrying about coming loose. Not flexible. I’ve never bought a filet knife online before till now, and won’t make that mistake again. It’s clearly a nice knife, but for what I needed it for I just butchered my perch filets. If you are filleting smaller fish, and need flex in your blade this is not the knife. I should have read the reviews, Dexter makes quality products but this model does not suit what I needed it for.
