It works exactly like our most expensive luminol with one exception. Training Bluestar destroys DNA, unlike regular Bluestar luminol. You get eight sets of tablets, enough to make 32 oz of luminol. Each set of tablets makes 4 oz of luminol reagent. BLUESTAR glows bright (the glow does not require total darkness to be visible) and lasts hours after mixing. Bluestar Training is a new reagent whose purpose is to reveal bloodstains that have been washed out, wiped off or which are invisible to the naked eye. This product is intended for crime investigators. Based upon chemiluminescence, its unique formula qualifies it as the most effective blood revealer available on the market, for crime scene as well as forensic lab use. Before use, Bluestar Training has a very long shelf-life and does not necessitate any special storage condition. Once mixed, Bluestar Training is stable and will work for hours, or even several days. I am trying to test synthetic blood using this. Will it test positive?** A: Our Bluestar luminol contains both luminol (C8H7N3O2) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The hydrogen peroxide reacts with the iron in blood to produce a glowing light. **Q: After mixing all ingredients - how long the reaction would be stable? If I keep it refrigerated it would last longer** A: It should be used immediately. But the good news is that it can last for up to 8 hours or even longer after being mixed with water. Refrigeration may not help extend it's usefulness. NOTE: When adding water to the tablets be patient and do not shake or stir. **Q: Will this work to determine blood on fabric that's been hand washed n dried? And how will blood show up after this test, what will it look like** A: Suspect stains glow a blueish tint in dim light. No UV light is used. Some soaps and bleaches will make it react.
