What type bushing does it come with ie porter cable type or plastic bushings. I downloaded the manual and it looks like po style** A: I bought the product a few years ago, perhaps 5 years ago. It shipped with nice brass Porter-Cable bushings. **Q: From the pic it looks like you have to ensure you keep the router bushing/bearing along the inside edge of the template? Do you have to be really careful that you don't accidently spoil the tennon?** A: you should all ways be careful when using power tools that would rip a finger off or damage equipment. going too fast or just plane stupid will damage people and equipment. **Q: How do i know if this is compatable with my dewalt dw616 router?** A: To use the jig you need a plunge base DW6182. This fits your dw616. The base plate needs the hole for the Porter Cable type busings that come with trend mt/jig **Q: Can this work with the ryobi plunge router?** A: There is nothing router specific about this jig-- any plunge router with a standard base plate should work. I have used it with Porter Cable and Bosch.
