Ideal for use every time you drain your spa, it ensures a safer, healthier, and more enjoyable hot tub experience. ## Description Oh Yuk Healthy Hot Tub Cleaner This product has been heavily engineered to remove the unseen contaminants from your hot tub’s system. When these contaminants are removed you will see: clearer water, less foam, better filtration, higher chemical efficiency, and an overall safer, healthier spa experience! Never go more than three months without changing the water because the total dissolved solids will increase and impede the performance of your sanitizer. Always keep the water circulating to ensure proper filtration and prevent stagnant water that will lead to high bacteria levels. It is very important to maintain proper chlorine or bromine residual to prevent water related illness. Oh Yuk Healthy Hot Tub Cleaner finds hidden contaminants in your hot tub and eradicates them for a cleaner, healthier, safer hot tub experience. Use Healthy Hot Tub Cleaner every time you drain your spa. How To Clean Your Hot Tub Simply add 8 ounces prior to draining your hot tub. Let hot tub circulate for one hour, drain the tub, wipe the contamination/ residue off the surface of the tub. To prevent your filter from clogging, remove your filter and soak in a solution of 2 ounces of Oh Yuk Healthy Hot Tub Cleaner and 1-2 gallons of water. Review: Cleaning spa made easy - Very good product to clean spa on quarterly basis Review: It works! - This stuff always works. I repeatedly buy it. The only thing to watch out for- is to make sure you have it all out (gunk) before you refill tub. Follow the directions on bottle- which are easy. Then when you are emptying the tub- be rinsing the jets with good pressure on your hose. Last time- the dirt knocked loose as soon as I turned the jets on AFTER I filled it. So watch for that. I have never had that happen before. This product certainly cleans out the yuk! ## Features - From the Creators of Oh Yuk Jetted Tub Cleaner Comes a Great New Cleaner for Your Hot Tub! - Improves Water Quality and Clarity! - Removes Contaminants and Improves Filtration! - Extends the Life of Your Equipment! - Reduces Chemical Usage, Foaming, and Removes Nasty Residues! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B012GNCI44 | | Best Sellers Rank | #100,451 in Health ( See Top 100 in Health ) #1,505 in All-Purpose Household Cleaners | | Brand | Oh Yuk | | Brand Name | Oh Yuk | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 5,368 Reviews | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Weight | 0.53 Kilograms | | Item form | Liquid | | Item weight | 0.53 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Oh Yuk | | Manufacturer Part Number | 43237-2 | | Model Number | 43237-2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Package Size Name | 16 Ounces | | Product Benefits | Improves water clarity and filtration for a safer, healthier spa experience | | Product benefits | Improves water clarity and filtration for a safer, healthier spa experience | | UPC | 850788004291 | | Unit Count | 16.0 Fluid Ounces | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Oh Yuk - **Item form:** Liquid - **Item weight:** 0.53 Kilograms - **Product benefits:** Improves water clarity and filtration for a safer, healthier spa experience - **UPC:** 850788004291 ## Images ![Healthy Hot Tub Cleaner 16 Ounces - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YAcWIc7aL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How much Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner should I use?** A: Use 2 fl oz of Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner per 100 gallons of water. The 8 fl oz instructions are based on an average 400-gallon hot tub. For larger hot tubs and swim spas, simply calculate the amount based on total water capacity. **Q: How does Oh Yuk help support hot tub chemical performance?** A: Buildup inside jets and plumbing can trap oils, grime, and organic residue, making water harder to maintain. Oh Yuk helps flush that hidden buildup so your regular hot tub chemicals can work more effectively in a cleaner system. **Q: Why do I see gunk or scum after using the cleaner?** A: Oh Yuk circulates through the system, it can loosen hidden residue from the plumbing and jet lines. You may see material appear in the water, foam or around the spa. **Q: Can I use Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner in inflatable hot tubs, in-ground spas, or swim spas?** A: Yes. Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner can be used for inflatable hot tubs, in-ground hot tubs, jetted spas, and swim spas. Choose the bottle size based on your spa’s water capacity and use 2 fl oz per 100 gallons of water. **Q: How do I clean scum rings and residue that appear after flushing my hot tub?** A: After draining, use Oh Yuk Hot Tub Surface Cleaner to remove scum, oils, and grime. It cuts buildup easily and helps protect your hot tub surface from UV exposure. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cleaning spa made easy *by F***B on 25 July 2023* Very good product to clean spa on quarterly basis ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works! *by A***L on 20 September 2026* This stuff always works.
