    They both love these slide locking laces in their shoes

I have two elderly relatives with compromised control in their hands which makes it difficult for them to tie shoes or anything else.  They both love these slide locking laces in their shoes.  Wish they were more readily available in shoe stores and sport equipment stores.  The one small drawback is that neither of these people can feed the lace through the slide, but once someone else does that for them, they can "tie" their own shoes.  Yay!

If you have boys, or smaller kids: those elastic laces are perfect. My boys can tie their laces, but it takes forever, this is so much faster in the morning! They wear them in their school uniform shoes. It takes about 5 minutes per shoe to install, but it is easy.
