## Description

Grievously injured in the crash of an experimental aircraft, Colonel Steve Austin's shattered body is covertly rebuilt via the miracle of modern science known as bionics. Equipped with atomic-powered limbs that make him "better, stronger, faster" than the average mortal, Austin (Lee Majors) can now run at speeds exceeding 60 miles per hour, overturn cars with ease, and spot an encroaching enemy from over a mile away. Under the watchful eye of OSI director Oscar Goldman (Richard Anderson), Steve repays his debt to the taxpayers by taking on perilous missions of a highly classified nature. Familiar faces and exciting new foes dominate The Six Million Dollar Man's riveting SEASON 3. Back from the dead is Jaime Sommers (Lindsay Wagner), who can't remember her bionic soul mate. Emotions frayed, Steve keeps busy by retrieving the Liberty Bell and a feral child raised by wolves. Later, Austin goes mano a mano with the legendary Bigfoot in a clash for the ages. Reconnect with the bionic man in this 6-DVD set featuring all 21 uncut episodes and bonus features including the two-part premiere of The Bionic Woman spin-off series and more!Bonus Content:Disc 3 - The Six Million Dollar Man Season 3: The Blue Flash Audio Commentary by Director Cliff BoleDisc 4 - The Six Million Dollar Man Season 3: The Bionic Women: Welcome Home, Jamie The Bionic Woman: Welcome Home, Jamie - Part IIDisc 5 - The Six Million Dollar Man Season 3: The Secret of Bigfoot Audio Commentary by Writer/Producer Kenneth Johnson The Secret of Bigfoot - Part II Audio Commentary by Writer/Producer Kenneth Johnson

Review: Just as I remembered it! - Even though this is a region 2 set of DVDs, I would recommend it. Only a short time later did I find out that it had come out on Time/Life (for an extremely high price, I might add, though!). It was worth it, but if you can't afford it, this is a very good addition to any collection. The language is both in English and Italian; have no fear. If you are looking for a good cheap way to view this set, go to [...] They offer a region free DVD player for only $58! That rivals Walmart. Hee hee. The player has a converter in it, so no expensive PAL-to-NTSC and vice versa conversions. The precise URL for the player is here: [...] although there are plenty of others to choose from, as well. It is advertized as a "Philips DVD-3560 Region Code Free DVD Player". I found no quality problems and it was wonderful to view this season again on TV as I had remembered it as a child. As far as I knew at the time, there was no other place to buy the 3rd season. Wonderful show with wonderful values, I would highly recommend it to anyone. For those with deeper pockets (around $250.00, if I remember correctly), the entire show is available from Time-Life at: [...]|9820|six%20million%20man||S|b|6054121283&gclid=CL-Ymfyx96cCFZFoKgodeh-fsg. Actually, I see it costs $239.95. The extras are particularly wonderful with this product. Good luck, whatever you decide. But rest assured, the Italian version of season 3 in region 2 DVD is absolutely wonderful! Happy shopping and viewing!
Review: When TV Was Original and Worth Watching - I could not wait for the Six Million Dollar Man to come out on DVD. Like most 40-50 year olds, this was my favorite series when growing up in the 70's. Sure the special effects are not all CGI and glossy like they are today, but they're not bad for the time and heaven knows even the worst stript and plot for TSMDM is ten times better than half of the sci-fi trash that is put out there now days. Lee Majors was made for the role and may be more assoicated with it than just about any actor could be with a role. I agree with most that season Two was probably better overall, but this is the first season we all got to see Steve Austin take on that other 70's icon "Bigfoot". That alone makes this five stars. Harve Bennett was on top of his game when producing this series and Richard Anderson as Oscar Goldman may be as famous for that role as Majors was with Austin. I will not bore you with episode lists and views on each one, but I will say if you love sci-fi and if you grew up in the 70's, this is a must buy not only for its excellent entertainment, but the trip down memory lane when TV was worth a darn.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Steve Austin is a Hero still struggling with traumatic changes & with doubts about his clandestine government service
*by F***P on February 9, 2015*

If you grew up with Steve Austin like I did this is one of the BEST series of the 70's. Set aside the Special Effects which were "state of the art" back then but a little cheesy now. The drama of tragedy, rehab, feeling like someone's "Frankenstein" are well portrayed by Lee Majors. Col Steve Austin is a patriot who wants to do right by his country but follows his high standard of ethics which is usually mutually exclusive for a clandestine government operative. Conflicts of being a James Bond who won't carry a gun and will not kill with not being willing to let bad guys run free cause some friction with his "Handler" Oscar Goldman. Steve is continually torn between protecting his country and wanting a normal life. JAIME SOMMERS is still a big issue. Her trip down the Bionic assembly line left her with some memory loss, like her being engaged to Steve. It's about two people with deep scars physically and emotionally trying to reclaim themselves in heart and soul while seeing themselves as freaks.
