Review: Great director's chair that doesn't take up much space. - Got a great deal on mine and I needed a chair that could be stowed when space was needed. This fit the bill perfectly. I was concerned that the fabric seat would rise on the sides too much and feel awkward but it is taut enough where that doesn't seem to be the case. I also like that replacement canvas is available and easy to install so you can change colors as needed. I have my doubts about this as a chair that you can really lean back in and relax with as the fabric back wants to collapse some but sitting upright at a table is just fine. I have no regrets as that is what I bought it for. It is as comfortable as a director's chair could be. My only criticism would be that the foot rest screws in place and prevents you from folding the chair and putting it away. It requires you to unscrew the two screws that hold the foot rest in place to fold it. And for me the foot rest is a must have. Maybe I'll try to find some wing bolts to use instead. Also, the arm rests are just wood so one upgrade I made was to purchase some inexpensive armrest pads that fasten on with velcro. That made a big difference and is a low cost upgrade.

The chairs are rated for a weight capacity of 225 lbs; however, I have used them many times at Trade Shows and Events for Casual Home and I am 6'2" 250 lbs and they're still very sturdy for me--never had a problem!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extremely Sturdy...

This directors chair is perfect if you are keeping it in your home. If you are looking for one to travel with this design is very hard to fold up because you will have to unscrew the foot rest every time yo fold it up. The hinges that lock to keep the chair open are extremely sturdy so much so that it was pretty hard for me (30 years old and in good shape) to get the hinges all the way opened to lock. The chair does look amazing and the quality is superb. Its very sturdy and quite comfortable to sit in.
