It installs easily and works great. I recommend finding the position you want it in and then applying Loctite to the threads to keep it in place. the QD swivel spins easily, but will only do a 1/4 turn, not spin all the way around. I personally like this as the sling doesn't get all twisted around when in a range bag or storage, and if you wear the rifle across your chest it helps to hold the front in place better than those that spin freely. 5 Stars: solid product that works as described, good price, fast shipping Review: Good QD mount and the price is right - This is a great keymod QD sling mount and it works well with my Magpul double QD sling. The mount restricts rotation of the QD to roughly 90 degrees when installed which really helps prevent tangles but still keeps the sling flexible. Some reviews complain of soft metal used for the mount bolts resulting in stripping of the allen head. While I agree that the metal isn't high carbon steel, I was able to install it without any issue - no need to torque the bolts crazy tight. If you're worried about the bolts loosening with use, apply a little blue thread locker (NOT the red stuff unless you never want to be able to remove it). Given that I've been satisfied with their other products and are made in the USA, gave this a try. Upon receipt of the product, I inspected the quality and finish, and it was excellent. The QD mount was easy to attach and secured tightly to the rail. I attached a Sig QD sling and it fit perfectly and attached to the UTG mount effortlessly.
