**Q: Do these have a gross plastic/chemical smell upon opening? I find that some afforadable ones dont smell pleasant.**
A: Yes. I bought two for my kids and the smell of chemical was so overwhelming I had to hose down the mats and leave them outside overnight to air out. And even then they are still giving off an odor, just not as strong.  Still gross, no way that’s healthy.

A: It didn’t come with a strap.

My preschooler loves to do Paw Patrol yoga so I thought it was time to get her a mat of her own. This mat is perfect size, and she loves the unicorn design (she got to choose the design). There was no weird smell out of the package, and its the same quality as my adult yoga mat, which pleasantly surprised me. It's small enough that she can roll it up herself, and its light enough that she can carry it around on her own. The grip is perfect, not "sticky" feeling, but enough to keep her from slipping during her yoga sessions. I would 100% recommend this to anyone considering a yoga mat for their kid(s).
