Basically half fill the pot/ container with compost, put a handful of the phosphate onto the compost, place the plants root on top of the granules then continue to fill up the pot. I have had better plant growth this year. I can only assume it works. Also it should work of other plants I used it on cucumbers and courgettes all better than last year. **Q: Is this the same as rock phosphate? I've been advised to use rock phosphate for tomato plants.** A: Hi Not sure, but , if you click on the image of the container, theres an email address you can ask the company directly. **Q: How do you use this? Do you just put it on top of the soil used already, or do you replant it with this fertiliser? Thanks** A: I used this on my carrot bed (raised bed). Just spread it over then turned it in. Carrots do not need nitrogen makes them fork.
