Review: Really Lightweight and Comfortable - This is the perfect compact chair to take to festivals or camping. Small enough to carry in or attached to a rucksack or just to keep in the boot of the car. It can be assembled in about 90 seconds; all the parts are connected together so you won't lose or drop any parts. Due to its high back, it is really comfy for sitting in for long periods of time. Ideal for festivals, camping or the beach. Highly recommended.
Review: Lightweight and Strong - Lightweight and small making it perfect for carrying with a lot of personal kit when traveling. Strong too, I am 20st and chair has no problem with that, not the widest seat but comfortable all the same and I feel safe sitting in it with no signs of my weight being an issue. My only problem is that putting it together to use, it is stiff and requires some strength to do properly and this has not changed after being used many times, however it does not fold up unintentionally and when you do want to fold it, it can be done easily.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How high off the ground is the seat. Jackie**
A: About 47cm

**Q: Does this chair fold up easily after assembled or do have to take apart every time its used**
A: It's a bit like tent poles. Pull it apart and it folds like one big tent pole. We have motorbikes and have to put it away at the end of the trip and it's small enough to fit on the back of the bike. That's kinda the ide6

**Q: Does this have good lumbar back support?**
A: Not really no. It’s not got any lumbar support built in. The chair will conform to your shape mostly though. I have a bad back and I find it perfectly ok to sit In for a couple of hours at a time. It’s not one you can lay back in as the back of the chair isn’t high enough to support your head as such bit perfectly usable for hours at a time

**Q: do the feet sink into grass easily?**
A: I have several of these type of chairs of different brands and find this one exceptionally good on soft surfaces I have not had this chair sink into the ground on grass and have even used it on the beach with minimal sinking on moist sand I am 100 kg and have had no issue with this particular chair as the rubber ferrules on bottom of legs tend to spread the load, hope this helps.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good seat height and compact
*by M***N on 2 August 2026*

This is my second chair of this style - my first is in storage. It is compact but very easy to assemble as all the parts are joined by elastic. It has a good seat height and is very comfortable to sit on. It fits in my rucksack. I’ll probably have to put a carrier bag under the feet, when using on sand or pebbles as they can sink into the beach. I tried borrowing friend’s beach chairs but found them uncomfortable where the metal supports are under your legs. I love this chair.
