Before we got one a friend actually had one and we helped her use it. I was uncertain if it would work when I looked at it but it started her car right up. Great emergency item to have in your car. Very bright flashlight also.

I HAVE NOT tested it to jump start a vehicle, I'll wait for the need. The flashlight is like a spotlight on the high setting and brighter than most on the low setting. My favorite and most used feature is the work-light on the side, which is bright and great for tight work spaces like under a car or sink. The red & flashing lights are bright and would be good for emergency warnings. The magnet is ok, but not strong enough to hold the heavy light on a horizontal position, but it's good to find something metal you dropped. It also holds a full charge for months when unused, and the battery lasts for longer than I have needed when in use. I'd give it 5 stars if I had started a vehicle successfully.

Not only is it a great flashlight but needed to charge a car battery and work fantastically
