My partner and I have 5 cats and due to various diets and eating behaviors, they can not free feed and they must eat wet food. The cats eat twice a day and in order to create more simplicity in our lives, we decided to would be easier to prepare our cats meals one day in advance. These dishes were the perfect solution! They are just wide and deep enough for out cats to eat from them comfortably. They do not take up a lit of space in the refrigerator and the lids make storage super easy. Not all of the lids fit as well we'd like - a few of them are too small and always pop-off either on one side or completely. This issue is not true of all the lids. It is a minor draw-back to what is otherwise a perfect product for our needs. The glass is also thick and well crafted so the bowls themselves are very durable. They are really lovely little dishes.
