While I haven’t washed/bleached mine (still new and is “winter”, I anticipate being able to wash them. It’s a nice hamper. I love how you get several small bags to sort your delicates into and the option for it to be a rolling bin, or stationary. Super easy to assemble. I personally did not use the instructions but they are very detailed and come with the appropriate tools. I am using this as a rolling bin as my apartment laundry room is a bit of a walk. It holds all my laundry supplies in the middle compartment and then towels, socks, etc on one side and clothing on the other. I wear all black so I don't do the 'whites and darks' lol. But yea. The rattan is a nice quality. Doesn't look fake. Smells a bit weird but I think that's the dye they use for the black one I got. Nice height too and the top is sturdy enough my cat can jump up on it, or I can store things on top of it and thwart her efforts to climb higher lol.
