Review: Opti-Lube is the answer to your Diesel Fuel needs! - I will start by saying i have tried NEARLY EVERY different brand of Diesel Fuel additive on the market, from performance blends to Lubrication blends. They all promised the moon, and very few of them did anything at all from my experiences. Opti-lube was the last one for me to try as i couldn't get it locally, so of course i tried all the brands i could find locally. I wish i would of STARTED with Opti-lube products first! This stuff is amazing, im not one to follow hype around products i like to see proof with my own eyes before i make up my mind. I had always seen on Facebook Diesel pages that the best stuff was Opti-lube, but it always turned out it was a Vendor saying those statements. Well after trying FOUR different blends from Opti-lube im here to tell you that if your having a problem getting quality fuel in your area this will fix all of your issues! Here in Alabama good diesel fuel is not around at all, you take what you can get. Well now with me using Opti-lube i have increased my MPG by roughly 15 miles to the tank, my throttle response has greatly improved, it starts up cold without any second thought, and it over all idles and drives better and smoother. I will continue to order Opti-lube for as long as i continue to own my truck! I'm currently mixing The XL, XPD, and Boost blends together in every tank and my motor couldn't be happier and all of my injectors are within + or - 1 while at park and idling.

**Q: What is the shelf life of xdp**
A: I have used OptiLube in my 2003 Dodge Ram Cummins for nearly 200,000 mies and in my used RV Caterpillar inline 6 for over 60,000 with no apparent loss of behavior in either rig.  I buy it by the gallon and recently used some summer formula that is at or near a yea old.  The cummins was giving me injector troubles at 40,000 miles when Opti Lube was recommended .  The motor smoothed out with the first bottle and is stillrunning of the factory injectors with no issues.  The old Cat engine smoothed out with the first use and runs smooth as silk,  If there is a "shelf life" problem I have not experienced it.  USE IT religiously if you want a quieter, smoother engine!

This stuff is statistically better than anything else on the market. Don't take my word for it. Go look at motor oil geek's video on diesel additives. This product provides significantly more lubrication and cetane than the others. (I'm talking about you, Archoil). I have used just about everything but now I buy a case at a time direct from the manufacturer. I have noticed my pickup idles quieter and I get a small bump in MPG, maybe .5 or 1. The biggest advantage is the CP4 protection. You can either spend the money on this every tank, or spend thousands on a pump and have your truck down. This product is cheap insurance!
