I greatly appreciate that the metal collar is securely glued to the wooden handle, however one of the brushes had a defect in that some of the glue had gotten onto the bristles, but with I was able to remove it with my fingernails and some elbow grease. That was how I learned that the bristles are also secure fastened to the brush head and collar, I just used them for the first time this morning and they felt very nice a great job applying foundation and blending, they are so soft but firm enough to use with liquid and they are easy to wash with soap or olive oil.I would rate these brush on the higher end of the spectrum as far as quality goes, they are not couture $150 dollar per brush brushes, but they are very nice for the average chica to use for everyday makeup. I plan to buy a a few more sets to give as birthday/Christmas presents! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice brushes for the price *by M***A on November 4, 2016* Shipped very quickly.
