**Q: Does this version take a sim card?**
A: Yes

**Q: Does it have to have a sim card to work? or can it just connect to wifi for a 9 year old…**
A: As the ad title states, it is a WIFI and Cellular tablet - so it will work with either. Thank you for writing.

**Q: Can I plug the charger into 220 volt?**
A: Yes.

**Q: Can this be used as a cell phone in the US?**
A: No!  Tried 2 different Verizon stores and a T-mobile store and they all said it could only be used for text and data and would NOT make or receive voice calls.  Spent two hours on the phone with Samsung and Verizon and my friend spent another hour with T-mobile with not success.  Returning this item.  Does NOT function as advertised!

I bought this tablet for my child. Great product but can be slow sometimes and keep freezing up. The charger started giving problems already and we didn’t damage it. So,I don’t know what’s wrong with that but overall the tablet is okay.
