## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you play this on the Xbox one?**
A: I just tried and it doesnt

**Q: Does this require Xbox Live?**
A: I'm not sure if it requires it but my Xbox is always on live I have the free version of live. It's good to have. And you don't have to be a gold member. A lot of my other games you have to be signed in to play them

**Q: When i try to play it on my xbox 360 it reads: "this disc's region code is incorrect for this console." i can't find this in the product description?**
A: hi, not sure whats wrong, it played fine on my xbox360, maybe there are different versions. maybe the sellers can help find the problem. sometimes when my other games dont work right i just clean them and try it a few times and then it may work well. maybe it has to do with certain nations, i'm in illinois usa and i think i bought it from a usa seller, so maybe its a version for another nation? hope that helps

First off, I'd like to say that I am a Civil War buff and I enjoy anything that has to do with the subject. So....after playing through the pc version of Civil War: Secret Missions, I decided to get the prequel to that game. After ordering the pc version, I was disappointed to find it didn't run at all on Windows 7. I was lucky enough to find an xbox 360 at a garage sale for a good price (and yes, it runs, too). I then got the xbox version of this game and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, I still play this game a lot. Here is basically how the game is: There are only twelve missions, battles, whatever you want to call 'em. However, I found each one to be extremely fun and enjoyable. Here is a brief list of each CS mission and what they are like: Confederate: 1. Bull Run: An okay mission, not exactly one of my favorites but not bad since there is a little bit of line fighting in this one (a little bit mind you). You have to destroy a cannon position and then destroy three rows of barricades. Lots of fighting in farm areas. 2. Shiloh: One of the worst missions of the set. Completely historically inaccurate it's absurd. You and you alone have to "slice the throats" of Union guards with a bowie knife (okay? I don't recall that happening in the Battle of Shiloh though the Confederates did surprise the Union with an early morning attack). You can't even get close enough to slice a picket's throat before the spin around and start shooting. If you are lucky enough to down a guard with one slice, all of a sudden the entire enemy camp knows exactly where you're at. Very annoying! 3. Antietam: Good mission. Lots of fighting. Full of desperate skirmishing around the fringes of the real battle. 4. Chancellorsville: Not bad. Too much running around tiny paths in the deep woods trying to accomplish unimportant jobs like blowing up guardtowers. Not much big battling in this one. 5. Chickamauga: One of the best missions of the entire game. I have played this one over and over and am still not tired of it. You are part of a detachment of ten soldiers (can you believe you have more than two or three friends in this one?). ;) You and your detachment are sent out to clear any nearby farms of Union garrisons. Great mission full of fun objectives and great parts like riding in a wagon armed with a gatling gun as you blow down attacking Yankees. 6. Cold Harbor: A sort of Shiloh version of the set. I see no history in this game whatsoever but this mission is fun. So there you go; a look into the first six battles. The other six (on the Union) are all pretty much the same, just big battles, most of which I found pretty fun. However there are some cons to this game that I should show you: 1. The AI is TERRIBLE. You can stand a foot or so away from the bad guy and either they will just keep on reloading, make a stupid charge towards you, or just stare at you like one in shock. That is pretty much the reason I take away a star. The AI is greatly improved in Secret Missions. 2. All the soldiers are a bunch of clones. I think I counted seven or eight different types of men (gasp). And they're all ugly, too. Huge beards. Bulging eyeballs. Raspy voices. They're all old, too. The youngest looking soldier I saw looked to be about thirty-eight. Hello, History Channel, most of the soldiers were young especially towards the end of the war. When they die, they look like old clones dying of a heart attack. Sometimes they look like they keel over drunk. It's so pathetic I find it humorous. 3. Voice acting stinks. 4. I get annoyed being stuck on little linear skirmishes when there are huge battles going on right near you. Battles you can't fight in because of the invisible lines. There is barely any line fighting whatsoever in the game; it's all just helter-skelter all over the place with rifles and muskets blazing all over. There are the positive things, though: 1. Gameplay is fun. I enjoyed all the different variety of missions except two (Shiloh and Chattanooga). 2. Gunshots are greatly realistic, and so are the battle noises and yells. You can even hear the cry of the wounded and sometimes the rebel yell over the explosions of bombs. 3. Your friends are actually a help as they can kill their targets almost every shot whereas in Secret Missions it takes millions of shots for your allies to kill one of the enemy. The only downfall is; you friends keep doing stupid mistakes that get themselves killed. Oh well, the AI... 4. Graphics are good for the year it was made, and still isn't such an eyesore. 5. Just plain fun. You will love this game if you are tired of WWII or modern day fps and if you do not mind playing old games. Beware of the AI, though! I really enjoyed this game and still play it without getting tired of it. Perhaps it is because I like the American Civil War. Or perhaps it is because the game is a good 'ol fps from the old days where you can fight as a Union or Confederate soldier--experiencing at least a fraction of what it was like fighting in A Nation Divided.
