Review: Worked perfectly for what I needed - Very happy with this purchase. Clearly from the reviews, consistency varies. I had a can previously that had been stored on the shelf for about a year, and was hard as a rock when opened. The new can I purchased on desertcart was a perfect clay consistency, not too runny or hard, very easy to work with. I used it to hold in a pipe that was popping out of it’s socket and causing my car to run loudly. I let it sit for 48 hours, and have been driving with it for about 2 weeks; it’s so far held up perfectly. I generally don’t drive more than a couple of miles at a time, so I can’t speak to longer distances, but for what I need, it’s definitely done the trick! Edit: it’s now been about 3 months and the repair is still holding up! Review: Seal broken, showed up dried out. - I was able to use less than half of what arrived. The seal was broken which let air in. Nothing leaked out but there was a hard layer under the seal that was unusable. Once I broke that out there was a mixture of hard and soft product. The amount barely covered what I needed so it was upsetting to not have 100% of the product at my disposal. The product itself is great. I was able to cover the hole in my exhaust, smoothed it out and awaited 24 hours. It is now hard as a rock and I no longer have an exhaust leak.
