The 3mm pellet size is perfect for medium to large fish, and they eagerly come to the surface as soon as feeding time begins. It's clear that the fish enjoy the taste, as there is very little leftover food after each feeding. One of the things I appreciate most is the quality of the ingredients. The pellets are nutrient-rich and help support vibrant coloration, healthy growth, and overall fish vitality. After switching to this food, my fish remained active, healthy, and displayed excellent color intensity. The pellets hold their shape well in the water without quickly turning mushy, which helps reduce waste and keeps the aquarium cleaner. The large 35-ounce container also provides excellent value, especially for tanks with multiple larger fish that consume food regularly.Pros:-Ideal size for larger cichlids and community fish-Fish readily accept and enjoy the pellets-Supports healthy growth and vibrant colors-Minimal waste and clouding of water-Quality ingredients-Large container offers great valueCons:-Pellet size may be too large for smaller fish-Large container may take time to use up in smaller aquariumsOverall:The Xtreme Big Fella 3mm Pellets are a high-quality fish food that delivers excellent nutrition, strong fish acceptance, and good value. If you keep larger cichlids or other medium-to-large community fish, this food is a fantastic option for maintaining a healthy, thriving aquarium ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beats my old faves. Actually smells like fish, sinks and doesn’t cloud as bad! *by on Reviewed in the United States July 17, 2026* It’s not cheap and couldn’t be 3 mils in size, but it doesn’t cloud up my 90 gallon & 55 gal sump like the big brands. Smells like fish, not grain and fillers. It sinks quickly. I had a 150 gal tall peacock tank that cracked at the bottom. I started over with two yellow labs and 4 bumblebees. 30 cichlids in 1.5 years. I like this food! This pic is 10 minutes after feeding. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fish love *by on Reviewed in the United States September 4, 2026* Our Jack Dempsey love the food. I feel like they sink a little fast but still ok ## Frequently Bought Together - Xtreme Big Fella 3.0mm Pellets: Professional Nutrition for Medium to Large Cichlid/Community Fish - Boost Immune & Digestive Health, Color & Energy, Max Protein Fish Food – USA Farm Grown (64oz) - Xtreme Cichlid Peewee 1.5 mm Pellets - Proven Nutrition for Cichlids - Balanced Amino Acids, Boost Immune & Digestive Health, Color & Energy, Max Protein Freshwater Fish Food – USA Farm Grown (72oz) - Xtreme Community Crave Flake - Krill & Spirulina Blend for Vibrant Colors, Immune Support and Digestive Health, Tropical & Freshwater Fish Nutrition – Premium Community Aquarium Food (16oz) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/32799681-xtreme-big-fella-3mm-pellets-large-cichlid-and-community-fish](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/32799681-xtreme-big-fella-3mm-pellets-large-cichlid-and-community-fish) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
